Special Olympics 2015 at Robinson Ranch

Robinson Ranch is excited to announce  … we are rolling out our Special Olympics Equestrian Team!!!

Our Special Olympics Equestrian Team will provide equine sports training and competition horseback riding for those with intellectual disabilities and we are proudly associated with Special Olympics Arizona (SOAZ).  All volunteers will be certified through the State office and we will utilize the State’s requirements/policies, forms and insurance to maintain a safe environment for our riders.
We are currently recruiting committed volunteers to assist with Special Olympics events to be held on Sunday, November 15th and Saturday, December 5th. We are seeking individuals interested in helping with administrationfundraising and working one on one with the client as side-walkers, horse handlers, and horse leaders.

Class A Volunteer Application (all volunteers)

Volunteers working one on one with our clients must fill out the Special Olympics Arizona Class A Volunteer Application (attached).  Once complete, you may turn this in with your Robinson Ranch Volunteer Application (if your application is more than 1 year old, you must RESUBMIT it) at our main office.  Please list Robinson Ranch as your delegation, Tanya Splets as the contact and Coach as your area of interest.
Additionally, all volunteers (whether you work with the client or not) must complete the Special Olympics Arizona General Orientation Quiz and the Special Olympics Protective Behaviors Training Course.
Follow the links below; please be sure to print your results and turn them in with your application.
