8th Annual Neighborhood Halloween Party & Hayride

Join us for the Robinson Ranch 8th Annual Neighborhood Halloween Party and Hayride!

 

DATE: Saturday, October 31, 2015
TIMES: Neighborhood Halloween Party begins at 4:30pm.  Hayride start at about 6:15pm

There will be food, games, costume contests, prizes and more! Lots of Spooky, creepy, ghoulish things are in the works! Also, kids will trick-or-treat and go through a neighborhood Haunted house as part of the tractor-drawn hayride.

VOLUNTEER NEEDS (All volunteers MUST be in costume)

Flyer Distribution: (5 people needed) – If you would like to spend about a half hour of your own time walking the neighborhood or taking flyers to local businesses, we could use your help.
Decorating:  (5 people needed) – We need help decorating the trailers, tractors and entire ranch. We need 1 person the week prior, Saturday October24 th at 9:30 am to work with 25 ASU students and an additional 4 people to help decorate Friday evening October 30th around 5pm. We have mostly all the décor we need, however, if you would like to donate spider webbing, we could use as much of that as we can get.

Prizes: We would love to have a variety of prizes for the kids on Halloween!  If you can donate a prize, please let us know.

Halloween Day (October 31, 2014)

 
Hayrides: (4 people needed)-We need personnel to ride on the wagon, collect the speed pass receipts and make sure the kids & adults are safe    be on site at 5pm.
Games: (5 people needed)-1 person per 2 game stations. Be on site at about 3:00 pm to help set up game stations
o    Human Spiderweb Game (yarn needed)
o    Mummy wrap (toilet paper needed)
o    Zombie sores (toilet paper, Elmer’s  glue & paint needed)
o    Witches Stew (straws, construction paper cutouts, bowls)
o    Musical Tombstones (Folding chairs decorated as tombstones, tape recorder with creepy music)
o    Apple bobbing
o    Costume contest
Master of Ceremonies(MC): (1-2 people needed) to make announcements, give away prizes, run costume contest, etc…. and stay with the PA system as needed (keep the music going, etc).
Food: (2 People for cooking and serving at the grill & 1 person to collect the donations to be there at 3:30pm) We are asking a $.25 donation for hotdogs, $.25 for chips and $.25 for small bottles of water.
Food: If you can donate hot dogs/buns, condiments, charcoal/lighter fluid, paper good, glasses, utensils, candy for games, chips, bottled water (the tiny bottles), or any other Halloween treat, that would be wonderful!  Please bring food by 3:30pm.

Cleanup: (5 People needed from 7-10pm)

Cash Donations: If you know of any business that would like to donate cash, or you would like to help, please contact John at 602-268-4972. The rental of the tractor and other costs are high and any little bit will help!
